Age limit 21- 30 years on 1st August of the year of Examination.
(Upper age- limit relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and some other categories,
as notified by the Govt. from time to time)
Educational qualifications
A degree in Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent.
M.Sc degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics,
Radio Physics or Radio Engineering also acceptable for certain Services/posts
only.
Candidates appearing at their engineering degree or equivalent examination
are also eligible to compete. Candidates qualifying on the result of
the written part of the Examination will be required to submit the proof
of passing the requisite examination along with their detailed application
form to be filled up at that stage.

Paper I (Objective type) General Ability Test
(Part A: General English)

Papers II & III (Objective type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical
Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele- Communication
Engineering 200 Marks for each paper
Papers IV & V(Conventional Type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical
Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele- communication
Engineering 200 Marks for each paper
Total marks for written Examination 1000 Marks
Personality Test 200 Marks
