 Candidates must apply directly to CBSE on the  prescribed form obtainable from selected branches of Canara Bank. Eligibility (1) M.B.A. ( Master of Business Administration : Full- Time / Part- Time Programme).
    Graduate (10+2+3 system) in any discipline with  at least 50% aggregate marks at graduate level.

(2) M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications : Full- Time / Part- Time Programme)
    Graduate (10+2+3 system) with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects either at 10+2 or
    graduation level    obtaining at least  50% aggregate marks at graduate level.
    For Part- Time students in addition 3 years experience in a reputed firm after graduation is necessary.

(3) M.Sc (lnformation Science- M.I.S. Full- Time) Graduate (10+2+3 system) in any discipline with
     at least 50% aggregate marks at graduate level.
(4) M.Sc. (Bio- Medical Instrumentation B.M.I. Full- Time) Graduate (10+2+3 system) with atleast
     50% aggregate marks at graduate level with Physics / Electronics / Instrumentation as one of the subjects.

(5) P.G.D.C.A. (Diploma in Computer Applications. Full- Time) Same as given for M.C.A. course.

(6) M.Pharm. Programme. Specialization:
      (a) Pharmaceutics
      (b) Pharmaceutical Chemistry
      (c) Pharmacology
      (d) Pharmacognosy
      (e) Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
      PCI & ACTE Accrediated B.Pharma degree with first class (Relaxable in case of SC/ST upto 55% marks)

(7) M.Tech.Programme
     Remote Sensing
     i) First class BE./B.Tech. In any branch of Engineering Technology from  AICTE recognized
        institution / university established as per law OR a first class Master degree in any one of the
        following subjects Geophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Environmental Sc. or Electronics from
        a recognised university.(For SC/ST 55% marks).
     ii) Stereoscopic normal colour vision. 

(7) M.Tech.Programme
     Computer Science
     B.E/B.Tech in any discipline or M.Sc (Physics/Mathematics/Electronics)
     with minimum 50% in aggregate.

(9) ME (Software Engineering)
     Computer Sc., Electrical or Electronics Engg. OR equivalent

Scholarships  For  ME, M.Pharma & M.Tech ( Remote  Sensing)  Full  Time  Programme:

Students admitted to M.E/M.Pharm/MTech.(Remote Sensing) full time programmes will be considered to receive UGC/HRD Junior Research Fellowship. wherever available provided they have valid GATE score. For details of availability of scholarship & other relevant Information. Selection Procedure etc.

M.E. Part Time /Flexible  programme In order to suit practicing Engineers at Ranchi and to update their technology, the institute is offering courses leading to  Post Graduate Qualification entitling the participation to either (a) Certificate OR (b) Diploma OR (c) Degree on completion of appropriate number of courses . The Courses are conducted at B.I.T. Extension Centre, Lalpur, Ranchi through formal classes held between 6.00 p.m and 9.00 p.m on working day. 

Application  Form  & Brochure : Candidates are requested to send crossed Indian Postal Order / Bank Draft of Rs.150/- (Rupees One hundred fifty only) for BE/B.Pharm/B.Arch Programme mentioned in (A) AN .Rs. 600/- (Rupees Six hundred only) which includes examination fees for courses mentioned in (8) & (C)
in favour of 'BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY' Mesra payable at Mesra/Ranchi. The request should accompany two self addressed slips of paper size 3" x4" mentioning clearly the name of the course for which the form is required. Form can be obtained by Post from the Institute at Main Building and counters of following Extension Centres
